Who say Thailand's education is not as good as others ?

Thai students have won gold and silver medals at the 51st International Mathematical Olympiad in Kazakhstan. There are six secondary school students in the team which they won one gold and five sliver medals. This competition began on the 2nd of July in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, and ends on Thursday. The golden medal is won by Nipun Pitimana-aree from Srinakharinwirot University Pathumwan Demonstration School. Four sliver medals went to Trium Udom Suksa's students which are Thanat Khururat, Pongpat Pumiwat, Suppanat Khamtue and Pakawut Jiradilok. Another silver medal went to Wichit Youngchit from Mahidol Witthayanusorn School. The team acquired the fifth place among 98 teams. Nipun, a gold medalist, said that he has been taking courses in The Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology (IPST) which he has been in a development program of mathematics and scientific skills since he was in sixth grade. Also, he experienced many math compitition in different levels.

I think they have made fame to Thailand and school of them. They make other country get know that a Thai has the ability in the sense of mathematics and English, because the examination is English. They must translate England and repair problem in problem arithmetic. They make nation, parents, teacher to be proud of them. A reward that them obtain to the proof that instruction education of Thailand, no inferior go to more other country. The government should give precedence of the education because, a child is the future in the nation.

The First Success of Tanaporn Kongkiatkrai

An eighteen year-old girl, Tanaporn Kongkiatkra, won her maiden title in her first tournament at the SAT-THAILPGA Championship 2010 in the three-day tournament at the Pattana Golf and Sports Resort, Chon Buri. She won by a stroke on two-under-par 214 within round 71, took home 71,000 baht in prize money. This was her first time to win as a professional. There were also a tournament in China which Thais won on 215 by Patcharajutar Kongkraphan (73) ,and Kulacha Paiboonpong (72). They both shared second place ,and won a prize money of 44,400 each. Fourth place went to Porani Chutichai (69) and Narisara Kerdrit (70). The Watermill Golf and Garden in Nakhon Nayok, is the next place that the SAT-THAILPGA Championship 2010 will take place at.

In my opinion, she can succeed in first step of a golf player and her achievement makes fame to herself. She can be the winner in the competition this game. She acquires the money around 71,000 baht. This thing proves that she always trains. Moreover, she has entered to compete in LPGA Tour, which be her ambition. I believe if she always trains. Finally, she can get enter compete in LPGA Tour. She will attempt that make her thing can achieve, as she expects.

Smaller classes are better !

Bangkok Education Service Area Office 2 has allowed the schools under its control to increase class sizes from maximum 40 to 50 students. In wish, they think increased the student numbers will cope the education problem. Nowadays, more and more students are increased in each classes. This is putting further strain on our already depleted resources. Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva has encouraged more outdoor education activities. He wish for the improvement of learning skills of students. Also, he worried about the less contact of the students and teachers. Smaller classes lead to more contact of student and teacher and also the more student would be able to express themselves to others.Prime minister has called on officials to ensure that the next attempt does not repeat the previous mistakes. The problem is still keep repeating, however, the government is trying their best to find the best solution for it.




In my opinion, amount student expansion more and more, there is both of the benefit and the disadvantage. In the advantage is a child will must not seize to attend a class in the school of government. Which a guardian will have done not worried, that a child of them will has no the school to study, but the disadvantages are the teacher can take care of a child. A child doesn't be finished and may make instruction and education processional go slowly down, but a prime minister will have told that to enhance teacher rate give enough with the requirement. Which be befitting thing very much and good beginning will in with regard to reform the education.

A pocket full of hope for Thai players

In this coming September, the Davis Cup Asia/Oceania Zone Group 2 final will be held in Bangkok. Many Thai players reached the final, after beating Indonesia 4-1 in Jakarta last week. Thailand manager Taweesak Silvakul praised his players Kittipong Wachiramanowong, Weerapat Doakmaiklee, Sonchat Ratiwatana and Sanchai Ratiwatana for giving hope, and leading them into the final round. Thailand will compete with New Zealand in the final round which Thailand believed they can defeat New Zealand.

I think that he can defeats a New Zealand players. He should tries and trains. If he has more practice before the final round, he will get more a good ability. Thai people look forward to this match. This match is very important for him. He should pays attention in this game. If he wins the New Zealand plays, he will be a notable person. He also gets a famous reputation for himself and Thailand. I think he can wins in the competition.
