Sea turtle egg which maintained at zoo Chiangmai aquarium that get hatch to gone out to is already formed. It is first time that the endangered marine animals have hatch on mountain area. In turtle festival, these turtle egg is one of the exhibition by cooperation between Chiang Mai Zoo and the navy's Sea Turtle Conservation Centre. Various species tortoise are different kinds of eggs to bring for exhibit and it featured as part of the festival. Mr Niphon says, the remaining eggs will hatch within two or three days, by a tortoise will maintain to hatch for new tortoise about five to six months before releasing them to the open sea. Cold air of the Chiang Rai compare with the air that water sea level will make hatch tortoise come out the male more than the female. It is the way of animal conservation. The turtle festival arrange to to realize for the awareness of plight of the endangered shelled animal, and encourage give a person participates to get involved in the conservation effort.
In my opinion, this is a new way for the animal conservation because the cold temperature in Chiang Rai and the temperature that water sea level affect to the tortoise eggs. When the eggs hatch, it has a male turtle more than female turtle. The tortoises are very significant for the sea and the environment. We should protect and preserve a turtl. We shouldn't steal a turtle eggs from a beach.
